Transportation and 2008 Bus Schedules

Transportation will be provided from central locations in Andover, North Andover, Haverhill, Chelmsford, MA and Merrimack, Manchester and Windham, NH.  Pick up times will be between 8:00 and 8:30 A.M. and drop off times between 4:30 and 5:00 P.M.  Exact times may vary according to the proximity to the camp and are subject to change prior to the first day of camp.  Please be at the assigned bus stop at least 5 minutes before the pick up/drop off time.  You will receive specific information about your child's transportation about a week before camp begins.

Each bus will have a bus counselor who will be responsible for that bus.  You will be given the name and home phone number of your child's bus counselor.  If your child is not going to camp, please call this number between 7:30 and 7:45 A.M. so the bus is not unnecessarily delayed waiting for your child.  Any problems or questions about the bus should be directed to the camp office, not the bus counselor.

Parents...

Please have your children at their assigned bus stop 5-10 minutes prior to their scheduled pick up time in the morning AND please be on time for pick up in the afternoon.  For the safety of all the children, the buses cannot wait more than a moment or two. If there are any problems, please call the camp office. 

If your child is not going to camp, please call your child's bus counselor between 7:30 and 7:45 A.M. OR after 7:45 please call the bus co. so the bus is not unnecessarily delayed waiting for your child.

All bus counselors have a camp cell phone to notify the main office if the bus will be delayed or in case of an emergency.  If the bus will be delayed beyond 20 minutes, a voice mail will be recorded at the camp office indicating the delay. The cell phone is a private number and cannot be distributed to Camp Hadar families.
